About Gail

Gail Bremner grew up on the Kingston Peninsula, has worked in the Saint John Harbour District for 30-plus years, and lived more than 20 years in Uptown Saint John. Gail truly believes there is no better place to live, learn, work and play than the City of Saint John.

From 1988 to 1993, Gail held managerial positions at the Delta Brunswick Hotel. She graduated from the University of New Brunswick in Saint John in 1995, then spent a year as a customer service representative with AVCO Financial Services before embarking on a successful 14-year career with Aquila Tours as an account manager, partner and vice-president of this award-winning company. She served one year as a consultant with the City of Saint John and the Saint John Hotel Association then, in 2010, started her own business, Bremner & Associates.

Bremner & Associates works with private, government and non-profit organizations in a wide variety of sectors, including tourism. Stonehammer brought international attention to the region while hosting the 2014 International UNESCO Global Geopark Conference when 500 delegates from 34 countries visited, leaving 1.5 million in the local economy. The UNESCO designation and geopark activities continue to be an economic driver for local tourism operators, and provide educational experiences to students and residents.

Community minded, a strong communicator and consensus builder committed to collaboration, Gail is driven to realize Saint John Harbour District’s sustainable growth and to improve the quality of life for all. Building on her experience as an active member of PC Youth, and her community activities, Gail has decided that now is the time to contribute to the future of the district by serving as a member of the New Brunswick Legislature. Gail’s skills and experience will enable her to provide a positive impact on the Saint John Harbour community.

Get Involved

There are two ways to get involved during the nomination process. This is a contested nomination and Gail needs to win the nomination in order to run in the election.

Here is how you can help (click “+” symbol for details):

  • It is a simple numbers game to win the nomination. Only people who live in the riding, who are members of the Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick, and who attend the nomination meeting (date TBD, early May) can vote for Gail.

    1. If you live in the riding (see map) complete the PC Membership Form. It is a $10 one year membership; a membership for anyone 14-23 years is free; one of Gail’s team members will pick it up the form and the $10.
    2. Attend the nomination meeting and vote for Gail (date TBD, early May).
    3. If you are comfortable asking others you know who live in the riding to sign up and vote at the nomination meeting that is also very helpful. OR you can send names of people and we will follow up with them.

Contact Gail to learn more about the nomination process.

  • If you like the thrill of an election or just want to meet some interesting people in your riding, there’s no better way than volunteering to help Gail win the nomination. Leading up to the nomination volunteers are needed for working the phones, attending events, collecting membership forms as well as assisting with transportation on nomination day (date to be announced but it will be early May).
